On the 16-th of June 2010 there was held a traditional regatta “Dragon”.
We congratulate the team of the Tver Konyaev college which took the second place!
There was held a rowing championship on the boats “Dragon” among students of higher  educational institutions after the initiative of the region’s Head Dmitry Zelenin for the second time in Tver. Students of the Tver Konyaev college took part in this competition.
The were two regattas 500m and 200m. Start on 500m was given near the Old bridge. There were 20 rowers and one helmsman and one drummer in a boat.. It was very difficult to row because of strong stream but our students took the honorary second place!
After finish the teams had 15 minutes break and without mooring to the river bank they drawn up to the start 200m.
Our team was successful in this regatta.Our team got silver medals and a Cup (for results in two regattas 500m and 200m)
It wasn’t the last regatta in this season.It will be held a night regatta in September.
